Student recruitment is carried out in an ethical manner in accordance with Access and Equity principles, and the National Code, Rules and Regulations. Access to a course is open to all applicant’s subject to meeting the required criteria.
The Australasia International School (previously known as International School of Beauty) has been in existence for over thirty years. AIS is registered with CRICOS, Provider No: 02747G, to deliver nationally accredited courses for Overseas Students who hold a valid Student Visa.
AIS is a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and the
TPS (Tuition protection scheme) which guarantees Overseas Student fees for our courses.
Course Requirements for Overseas Students
Minimum requirements for Overseas Students are that they be a minimum of 18 years old, have a mark of at least 55% in an accredited English subject, or an IELTS score of 5.5 For those students who require English language training a list of training establishments is available.
General Information for Overseas Students considering AIS Courses
Prospective Overseas Students must consider the cost of living in Australia when costing the
amount of money required to undertake their chosen course. On top of the Course fees and air fares, a Student should make an allowance of at least $AUD2000.00 per month to cover food, rent, power, phone charges, transport and entertainment. This is not an exhaustive list and will depend on the students own lifestyle.
If the Overseas Student wishes any dependent children to attend a school for their time in Australia they will be expected to pay tuition fees.
AIS does not offer accommodation but can offer advice.
Education Agents will also help the Overseas Student with accommodation advice.

It is mandatory for Overseas Students to have Overseas Students Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the Student Visa (VLC).

Overseas Students wishing to study at AIS should contact the nearest Australian Embassy for
advice on Student Visas.
Students seeking Course Credits (Recognised Prior Learning [RPL]) should request a RPL Application form with their application. Course Credits can be applied for, before, and up to four weeks after, the Course Commencement.
